Q1 · What is Assisto?
Assisto is a coordination platform based in Lisbon. We connect people who need everyday help with trusted locals and expats - our Companions - who offer their time and support for simple, practical tasks.
Q3 · Who are the Companions?
Companions are trusted, independent individuals - locals and expats from our community - who enjoy helping others. They are not employees, partners, or agents of Assisto.
Q5 · Is Assisto responsible for the tasks?
Companions provide their help independently. Assisto facilitates coordination and communication but does not manage, supervise, or guarantee results.
Q2 · How does Assisto work?
You submit a request through our website. We confirm the details with you by WhatsApp or email and match you with an available Companion. Once the task is completed, you confirm it and the process closes.
Q4 · How do payments work?
Payments are arranged individually for each task, in the way that’s most comfortable for the Companion and the person requesting assistance.
Assisto helps coordinate communication and scheduling but does not set prices or take responsibility for any financial arrangement between users and Companions.
Each request is handled separately and independently.
Q6 · Where is Assisto available?
Assisto currently operates in Lisbon, Portugal, and plans to expand to other cities soon.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Assisto cannot be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury connected to services performed by Companions.
Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR)
What we collect: Your name, contact details, and the information you provide when submitting a request.
Purpose: To coordinate your task, communicate with you, and connect you with a Companion.
Storage: Data is securely stored on Wix servers and internal coordination tools such as email or spreadsheets.
Access: Limited to Assisto’s coordination team and the Companion assigned to your confirmed task.
Your rights: You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at Hello@assistoapp.com
